Meet Your Therapist

Lisa A. Paquette, LMHC

Everyone can benefit from support at various times in their lives. Whether the challenge is a stage of life transition, a desire to make a change, relationship difficulties, addictions, or coping with anxiety, depression, anger, grief or the stress of everyday life, having a safe place to explore these things can make a difference in healing and building resilience.

I would be honored to join you on your journey of healing through a therapeutic relationship that is supportive and empowering for both individuals and couples. Together we will explore paths of growth and change that may help you find insights, new perspective, and the courage to move forward.

I am a humanistic, person-centered therapist who will meet you where you are in your life in an authentic and non-judgmental way. I offer a warm, safe and grounded space to process your thoughts and feelings as life happens. Through metaphor, mindfulness, reflection, and attachment, you become more aware of your patterns, able to make change, and feel more empowered in your own life.

I have experience in many different mental health care settings such as residential, community mental health, outpatient addictions center, and group private practice. I have a background in science and a M.Ed. in Counselor Education with CACREP certification in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bridgewater State University. I am trained in level 1 & 2 of The Gottman Method for Couples Therapy. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor serving adults ages 21 and over in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
